HFR HOUSE: HFR × CultureCon

Creative Direction · Production · Vendor & Talent Management

HFR HOUSE launched as a collaborative pop-up experience with CultureCon during CultureCon Week, marking the first live iteration of a concept I originally pitched for Harlem’s Fashion Row. Designed as a shared platform, the experience brought minority designers together in one curated space—creating direct access between designers, culture-driven audiences, and industry tastemakers.

I held full creative direction and led production execution, shaping the look, flow, and on-site experience from concept through launch. In parallel, the team worked seamlessly to curate participating talent, ensuring a cohesive mix of designers whose work and perspective aligned with HFR’s point of view. The result was a focused retail and cultural moment that positioned Black and minority designers at the center of the experience, not adjacent to it.
